I am looking for an I/O Sidewinder Ski Bar. It would save me the time of making my own. If anyone has one let me know. Thanks.

We make 40" pylons for our waterski and wakeboard boats, already, for use, in addition to the towers we purchase for some of them, and do intend to make an optional pylon for the Sidewinder product, as well, and have discussed making towers for them, at some point, also.

No pylons will be available until the inboards come out. We would design them around the finished product, so we do not have them designed, as of yet.

The one i am looking for mounts through the transom in four places and comes up above the outdrive unit. Sidewinder used to make one for their boats as i have seen them before. Thanks for trying though rpierce.

Mine had that bar when I got it. It was pretty flimsy and rusty and it was also rotting out the transom where it was bolted through. I removed it a tossed it. You would probably be better off with a regular universal pylon from Overtons or someplace like that. You can get engine mount ski tows if you have an exposed motor. I don't really ski much, so I just put a tow ring back there. It's good enough for pulling tubes or amateur skiers like me.

Someone rigged up a mount of some sort from the back of the block on my motor and even made a removable "plug" in the top of the engine cover for the pole to come through. I was unsure of the stability cause i have not saw anyone else running a setup like that. I do not want to use a regular ski pole cause i haul 4 ppl most of the time and want to save the room.

Thanks alot bzook. I could never find one on ebay.

It took me a awhile. I had to get creative with the search phrases. I finally typed "ski tow" and I found those 2.
