Default Who bought their Sidewinder new?

I bought my 16 Lo Pro from the Canadian factory in 1981, I was 26.....that makes me 60 now, lol. Over the years I've redone the clear coat three times, replaced the carpet, and replaced the seats with front swivels and rear bench. I originally put a 115 TOP on it that I already owned but got tired of being beat by everyone else who had 150's, so in 1983 I bought a new 200 Black Max and fixed that problem! The Road Runner trailer also came new with the boat, but it's kind of dated now with those 13 inch tires, time for an upgrade.......anyone else buy new, or who can beat my 34 years as proud Sidewinder owner!

This is an older post but I like it. Great story.... I can't quite match the 34 years, but close at 30!!
Got mine when I was just 14!! (As soon as I could get my licence) 44 now.
To be honest I'm not even sure which of the Sidewinder range I have. Not able to find a plate on it anywhere.
Anyone else had one they've kept for a long time??
