Default HOW TO POST PHOTOS TO SITE

There are a few different methods for posting photos to a thread discussion on sidewinder-boats.com

I'd like to address my favorite way, which i think is not only the safest but the easiest. Reason I recommend "safest", is in the case that the site ever dropped out or was lost. You would still retain the photos that you have posted by utilizing my method online.

So here goes.

#1 You need to setup a photobucket account. It's FREE, and very easy to use. Once you are registered with photobucket, you then either need to UPLOAD a photo or create a folder to upload to. If you just upload the photo to photobucket, it will all load into a "general" folder. I upload ALOT of photos, so i keep my folders fairly structured. On the left tab you can "create a folder". After creating a folder (or not if you choose not to), you then click on the box in the middle that says "upload photo". You will then be prompted to select where the photo is saved on your computer. Photobucket is also mobile friendly, so you can upload directly from your phone to your photobucket account/folders.

#2 After you have uploaded your photo to Photobucket, you then click on the photo that you are wanting to share. In the upper right corner, when viewing the photo you are wanting to share, you will see a box that says "share this photo. You want to select the line that says IMG. If you just click on that line, it will copy to your clipboard.

#3 Head on over to sidewinder-boats.com and click on the thread that you are in discussion or where you want to share your photo. Click Reply or New thread. In the text box, MAKE SURE THAT YOU START YOUR BLINKING CURSOR ON A NEW LINE. And right click and PASTE the link you copied from the line IMG on photobucket. Click Submit and Wala!

I hope that helps for those that are struggling a bit for posting photos.
Have a kickass weekend!

they did finally lower the price for hosting to non commercial sites $99 per year. a reasonable fee to store and host pics. was crazy they were trying to hold out for 399 a year and no one prolly bit!
